New in 2026 — AI Agents, a rebuilt Desktop & Mobile App, and the Marketplace

Every feature your business phone system should have. And a few it shouldn't need to be asked for.

Uniden Voice over Cloud is a complete Australian cloud phone platform — calling, messaging, video, reporting and now AI Agents that answer and make calls for you. Fifty-plus features, one portal, no contracts.

What's new

Five things that weren't here last year

The platform has moved a long way in twelve months. These are the additions worth knowing about before you look at the full feature list.

AI Agents — a receptionist that never goes to lunch

AI Agents are intelligent voice assistants that answer and make phone calls on behalf of your business. They hold natural conversations, answer questions from documents you upload, transfer callers to the right person, take messages, and capture structured information from every call — around the clock.

You build them in Agent Studio: give the agent a name, a voice and a personality, add Skills for each job it does, connect Tools so it can actually act, and upload Knowledge — price lists, FAQs, policies — for it to answer from. One "Reception" agent might answer your main line during the day and call missed leads back each afternoon.

AI Agents

Build it once. It answers every call after that.

An AI Agent is assembled from five simple parts, and you can have the guided wizard build the first one for you in a couple of minutes.

  • Agent — the assistant itself: its name, voice, personality and instructions.
  • Skills — focused workflows. Inbound voice answers your main line; outbound voice works a call list.
  • Campaigns — contact lists an outbound skill dials on a schedule, with retry rules, daily and monthly call caps, active-day presets and voicemail handling.
  • Tools — what the agent can actually do mid-call, such as transferring to a team or taking a message for email follow-up.
  • Knowledge — PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets or text you upload, indexed so the agent quotes your real prices and policies.

Every call comes back with a structured outcome you define — names, ratings, yes/no answers, dates, emails — emailed to you and posted to a webhook if you want it in another system.

Desktop & mobile

The same phone system on every screen you use.

One account, one identity, one call history — on your desk phone, your laptop and your mobile. Sign in with your email address and a link; there is no password to forget or reset.

  • Chat with direct and group rooms, @mentions, pinning, per-room notification control, in-app previews for PDFs and spreadsheets, and drafts that survive switching conversations.
  • SMS from your business numbers, filtered by service number tabs so Support and Sales stay separate.
  • Presence — see who is Online, Away, Busy, Ringing or On Call before you transfer, with custom statuses that expire on their own.
  • Calls with blind and attended transfer, two simultaneous calls with automatic hold, and recordings plus AI-generated summaries in the log.
  • Hardware that behaves — pick your headset, mic and camera, ring through PC speakers while audio stays in the headset, and answer or hang up with your headset buttons.

Meetings & calendar

Book it, join it, and let the phone system work around it.

Video meetings sit inside the same app as your calls, so there is nothing separate to install and nothing separate to log into.

  • Instant or scheduled — start a meeting now, or schedule one with email invitations to internal and external attendees.
  • Meeting rooms that stay open permanently for recurring team huddles.
  • Calendar view showing everything you have booked, with Join Meeting live when the time comes.
  • Audio priority — if a phone call arrives mid-meeting, meeting audio mutes itself and restores when you hang up.
  • AI booking — inbound AI skills have their own calendar tab, so an agent can take an appointment while you are on another job.

Screen sharing is one click, and unlimited — host a team catch-up or a customer walkthrough without a meeting-minutes budget.

Marketplace & CRM

Your phone system, wired into everything else you run on

Turn integrations on yourself from the Marketplace in your portal. Your CRM gets click-to-call and the caller's record on screen before you say hello; your accounting contacts turn anonymous numbers into names; your recordings go to storage you already own.

  • CRM click-to-call — dial from a contact record and have the call, the recording and the notes saved back against that customer.
  • Caller ID from your business data — Xero contacts and Lightspeed loyalty customers show up by name when they ring, so your team knows who is calling before they pick up.
  • Offsite recording storage in OneDrive or Google Drive, still accessible through the portal.
  • Microsoft Teams direct routing so Teams users dial and receive real phone calls on your numbers.
  • Webhooks and open APIs for call and SMS events, so a custom CRM or in-house system can be wired in properly.
