Sound familiar?

Your mobile number was never meant to be your business number

It worked when you started. Then the work grew, the phone stopped being something you control, and there is nobody else to answer it.

Customers ring at 9pm

Your personal number does not know it is after hours. Neither do your customers, so the phone goes off at dinner, on the weekend and on holiday.

Missed calls are missed jobs

You are on the tools, driving, or with a client. The call goes to a voicemail nobody leaves a message on, and the next name on the list gets the work.

You cannot hand it over

Taking a day off means taking the phone with you. There is nobody to divert to, no message to fall back on, and no way to share the load when you take someone on.

Your number is not an asset

It is tied to you, not the business. You cannot put it on a van, hand it to a partner, or sell it with the business later without starting again.

Two phones, two SIMs, one mess

The usual fix is carrying a second handset or juggling a second SIM. That is another bill, another charger, and one more thing to leave at home.

Home internet that drops mid-call

Consumer internet is not built for the job. When the connection wobbles during a quote, the customer hears it, and it does not sound like a business.

One bundle, one bill

Clock off without going off-grid

Being the whole business should not mean being on call every hour you own. Your business line follows the hours you set, not the other way around.

  • Business hours that mean itCalls ring through when you are working. After that they go to a greeting and voicemail, and the message lands in your inbox.
  • One phone, two livesBusiness calls come in through the app, so you can see it is work before you answer instead of guessing.
  • Your mobile number stays yoursCustomers get the business number. Family and friends keep the one they have always had.
  • Take a real day offFlick calls to a message, a mobile or a colleague without telling every customer a new number.
Room to grow

Start as one. Upgrade the day you are two.

  • Add users when you hireThe business plan scales from 3 to 50 users, with per-user pricing and no new system to learn.
  • The big-company features are already thereQueues, routing, analytics and AI voice agents are waiting on the same platform when you need them.

Getting started

Three steps and you are trading on a business number

1

Check your address

Pop your address into the plan builder. It confirms what NBN speeds are available where you work, because the bundle includes the connection.

Take the included NBN plan or step up to a faster one. Choose a new business number, or tell us the number you want ported across.

3

Download the app and answer

Install the free app on your phone and computer and you are live. Add a desk phone later if you want one, or never.

Good to know

Sole trader questions, answered

Can I keep my existing business number?

Yes. Uniden supports number portability, so the number already on your van, your website and your invoices comes across with you. You do not have to reprint anything or tell your customers a new number.

Do I need to buy a desk phone?

No. The free apps for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux are all you need to start calling. A Uniden EVOC2 desk phone or a cordless DECT handset can be added whenever you want one, and standard SIP devices work too.

Does my personal mobile number stay private?

Yes. Business calls and texts go out under your business number even though you are using the app on your own handset. Your personal number is never shown to customers, so you decide who gets which.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. The sole trader bundle has no fixed-term contract, so you can change plan or cancel as the business changes.

What happens if my internet drops out?

Your business stays connected. Even during an internet outage the mobile app keeps you reachable, with direct routing to your mobile device so calls still find you.

What if I take someone on?

The sole trader bundle covers one user. When you are ready for a team you move to the business plan, which scales from 3 up to 50 users on the same platform, keeping the same number and the same setup.

Do I have to take the NBN service?

Yes. The sole trader price is a bundle of the phone system and an NBN connection, which is how the internet ends up included rather than billed separately. That is also why the plan builder checks your address first, to confirm what is available where you work.

Is it really the same system big companies use?

It is. Uniden Voice over Cloud runs everything from one-person businesses through to large corporations and Governments with 1000+ staff. Sole traders get the same platform, designed and built in Australia, sized and priced for one.

Give your business its own phone number, and give yourself your evenings back.

Check what is available at your address and see your exact monthly price. It takes a couple of minutes.
