Is there really no contract?
Correct, every nbn plan is month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. You can even change your plan free once each month if your needs change.
Can I bring my existing phone number across?
Yes. Number porting is free and we handle it for you. Most numbers port over without any service interruption.
What's the difference between Home and Business plans?
Home plans use CGNAT shared IP addresses and are perfect for general use. Business plans include a static IP, business-grade SLA and priority support, important if you host servers, run a VPN, or use any service that needs a stable IP.
What are typical evening speeds?
The typical evening download/upload speeds are listed on each plan and reflect performance during the peak 7pm to 11pm window. They're the speeds we expect you to actually see, not the theoretical maximum.
How long does installation take?
If nbn is already connected at your address, you can usually be up and running within a few business days. For new installations, nbn Co will book a technician. We'll let you know the exact timeline once we've checked your address.
Do I need a modem?
Yes, you need an nbn-compatible router. We can supply one pre-configured for plug-and-play, or you can bring your own. Ask us when you sign up.
How do I pay?
All plans are billed monthly by direct debit. We invoice ahead and pull the payment automatically on your billing date.
Can I change my plan later?
