Four Races, One Mountain
The Bathurst 1000 is the biggest weekend on the Australian motorsport calendar, and for a 19 year old rookie it is a place where you learn fast. Jack Westbury came to Mount Panorama as the leading rookie in the 2026 Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes field, with Uniden Voice Over Cloud on the doors as a round sponsor alongside Smart Comfort by Synergy.
Before a wheel turned, Jack recorded a message for us that summed up what the weekend meant to him:
Jack Westbury, before the weekend
"Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Uniden Voice Over Cloud for jumping on board this weekend... Without their support, I don't think I'd be on the grid for Bathurst."
Four races later, the #29 has been packed up and the team is heading home. Here is how the weekend went.
The Highs
Jack showed real speed on his first visit to the 6.213 kilometre circuit, and the #29 looked right at home up Mountain Straight, across Skyline and down through The Esses. Every lap at Bathurst is a learning lap for a first-timer, and Jack kept learning and building with every session.

Speed on the mountain
The #29 showed genuine pace on its Bathurst debut, on the toughest circuit in the country.
Bouncing back
After a tough Friday, Jack and the crew regrouped overnight and came back fighting for the rest of the weekend.
Close racing
Hard, close racing right through the SuperUtes field, with the championship fight tightening at the front.
The Lows
The mountain does not hand anything out for free. Friday did not go the way we wanted, and Jack would be the first to say it. SuperUtes racing is close and physical, and at Bathurst there is no room for error.
Race 2 was chaos for the whole field. A multi-car crash on the run up to The Cutting at the start left several Utes damaged, and the race was reduced to a one-lap dash. Across the weekend, more than one driver had races decided by contact right to the flag.
What mattered was the response. Jack and the team put Friday behind them and kept pushing all the way to Sunday.
Time With the Fans
Off the track, the weekend was just as busy. Jack spent time at the autograph sessions at the SuperUtes Podium, signing Jack Westbury Racing posters with the #29 Uniden Ute on them. Seeing young fans walk away with one in hand was a highlight for all of us.

Thank You, JWR
A massive thank you to Jack, Emily and the whole team at Jack Westbury Racing. You brought the Uniden Voice Over Cloud colours to the biggest stage in Australian motorsport, and you made us feel part of the team all weekend.
Bathurst does not always go to plan. What stood out to us was how the crew responded. After a hard Friday, they had the Ute ready and Jack back out there fighting. That is the kind of team we are proud to have our name on.
We can't wait to see what's next for Jack and the #29. Follow Jack Westbury Racing for the rest of the season.
What a race team teaches a business
Strong pace, a reliable machine and a crew that never stops working. It is what wins races, and it is what keeps a business running too. That is how we run your phones and nbn.
